DANCERS NEEDED FOR LIVE PERFORMANCES & MUSIC VIDEO

An original Pop/Rock/Dance fusion act (www.ashrafmusic.com) is seeking 2 experienced, attractive female dancers between the ages of 19 and 29 to join our act and perform with our six-piece band at live music venues in and around the GTA. The dancers will perform with us initially on a trial basis, and if the collaboration is working well, throughout the summer and potentially on a long-term basis thereafter.

Selected dancers will be guaranteed payment for each live performance, with additional income available from merchandise and ticket sales commission.

The style of dance is Contemporary Pop with urban influences, like these music videos available free online:

Auditions will be held at a location in the downtown Toronto area within a few weeks. Dancers will be supplied with two MP3s and asked to prepare short routines to the music provided. Dancers will be auditioned individually, then finalists will be auditioned in pairs, aiming to select a pair of dancers who are well-matched in appearance, chemistry and dance style.

Live performances will range from once a month to twice a week depending on market conditions and the success of the project. The music video shoot will take place in the late summer. The first show we would like the dancers to perform for is on the evening of June 24, 2006.

Preference will be given to dancers with:

1.) Extensive previous live performance experience

2.) Positive & Professional attitudes, maturity & reliability

3.) Choreography Skills

4.) Interpersonal & Sales Skills

5.) A die-hard passion for performing and dancing along with an open mind.
