Ooh Canada!

Burlesque Performance in Toronto

With glowing hearts, on Sunday 6 July 2008, we see the rise of a new Harlettes show. In lieu of merely standing on guard, the Harlettes’ hoist the flag and turn out in red and white to once again give a salacious salute to the True North strong and free.

Featuring nods to hockey, winks to Suzuki and Trudeau, and high kicks to lumberjanes across the nation, the Harlettes will make your chest swell with true patriot love.

A highlight of the Harlettes’ season, Tribute to Canada IV features an entertaining and imaginative angle of all things Canadian. Using a minimum of 40% Canadian content, these homegrown gals move and shake to local and well known Canadian music.

If past shows are anything to go by, then audiences can expect dancing lumberjanes, synchronised hockey fights all sorts of maple soaked mayhem. On the other hand, the Harlettes are about as predictable as the Chinook winds and are always ready to play new tricks.

And what kind of a tribute would it be without a little something special to celebrate our icons from far and wide?

Come join the Harlettes in their dancing, singing, twirling, kicking and tricking tribute to our home and native land!
