Salsa on St. Clair is back for its fifth year to fill the streets with pure Latin energy. This family street party celebrating Toronto’s Latin cultures turn midtown Toronto between Winona Drive and Christie Ave into a showcase of Latin life: pulsating music, passionate dancing, fiery foods, a Latin market, a children’s area and much more.

Celebrate the city’s best Latino music, culture and entertainment at this free fun-filled Latin extravaganza. St. Clair Avenue West will be closed to vehicular traffic transforming the street into a dance floor and stage with activities for the whole family.

Hillcrest Village Salsa on St. Clair will feature activities for the whole family including live entertainment, dance lessons, children’s areas, food and exhibition booths and much more.

The first Salsa on St. Clair Street Festival took place in the summer of 2005 uniting diverse cultures that share the passion and love for Latin culture.

An estimated 250,000 people attended the event last year. The Festival has attracted over 750,000 revelers to the streets of Toronto since its launch.

Salsa in Toronto Festival highlights include the first ever Salsa at Blue Mountain, a FREE event for the entire family at one of Ontario’s top all-season resorts, on Saturday June 27, 2009 as well as the Second Annual Salsa at Ontario Place Saturday July 4, 2009.

Join in the conga line as Salsa Fever takes over the entire city at the Salsa in Toronto Festival!
