Salsa BBQ & Beach Party - Sunday, August 21, 2011
SalsaCrazee Socials invites you, your family and your friends to a fun filled Sunday afternoon filled with dancing, swimming, boating, biking, hiking and more. Work on your tan, dance your feet off, go for a walk in the nature, and breathe in the fresh air at this conservation area - it's like being at the cottage but without the long drive! Of course, we will have the BBQ going all day long to satisfy all your meat and veggie cravings!
DJ Alex will be playing the best in salsa, merengue, bachata, cha cha and hustle to ensure you get your dancing fix! And since there is no noise restriction, we intend to blast the tunes!

Food: BBQ & Potluck - please bring food or drinks for 5-8 people. Bring a portable propane BBQ if you have one.
Cost: Donation to cover cost of music equipment rental is appreciated
Pets: Pets on a leash are welcome.
Alcohol: No alcohol is permitted.
Our reserved site is only a 2 min walk from the parking lot. It faces the lake for an amazing view and photo opportunity. It's nice flat area, grassy with some shade and some sun. It's a very large area with over 15 picnic tables so lots of room to dance! Washrooms and boat rentals are nearby.
To get to the beach, you have two options from our BBQ site:
a) follow the 4 min trail through the conservation area, or
b) follow the 4 min boardwalk built right on the edge of the lake.
Cost
Park Entrance Fee: $6.25 per adult; children 5 years old and up are $4.50 and children under 5 years of age are free. There are no additional charges for parking.
