Shiamak Davar is the pioneer of modern and contemporary dance in India. With Shiamak Davar's Institute of the Performing Arts, he has spread the joy of dance to the young and young at heart all over the world. Over the past two decades, Shiamak has enthralled audiences with his theatrical stage performances, his productions, and award winning choreography for various Bollywood films. He is one of the most sought after creative visualizers today. Shiamak has represented India at many international events including the Closing Ceremony of the Common Wealth Games in Melbourne, the 'India Soiree' World Economic Forum in Davos, and the Indian Economic Forum in Italy, to name a few.
Shiamak Davar International presented “Sole 2 Soul in March 2007 and July 2008 performed by the Shiamak’s Bollywood Jazz Dance team in Vancouver, which met with grand success and appreciation, a full house and had the audience asking for a comeback of the production. “Sole 2 Soul” showcased dance pieces in Shiamak’s Indo Jazz, Shiamak’s Bollywood Jazz Dance styles and Shiamak’s Yoga- Inner Dance Movement. In July 2009 SDI amazed audiences with the dance spectacular "Stars of Bollywood", which left audience awestruck. It left all those that watched it astounded, and wanting more.
