FREE Bellydance documentary screening
To celebrate Culture Days 2011, Hot Docs will host FREE documentary screenings at some of Toronto’s most beloved neighbourhood cinemas. Join the Hot Docs Neighbourhood Watch as it brings Festival award-winners to Davisville, Little Italy and Roncesvalles Village cinemas on the following dates:
Friday, September 30 at 7:00 PM, join four Chinese born adoptees as they come of age between two cultures in SOMEWHERE BETWEEN at the Regent (551 Mount Pleasant Road).
Saturday, October 1 at 7:00 PM, follow an investigation of the honour killings of young girls in IN THE NAME OF THE FAMILY at the Royal Cinema (608 College Street).
Sunday, October 2 at 4:00 PM, be swept up in the chaotic and dangerous whirl of a clan of belly dancers in AT NIGHT, THEY DANCE at the Revue (400 Roncesvalles Avenue).
-Tickets will be available at the theatre one hour in advance of the screening, on a first come, first serve basis.
