The Turkish Rom are famous for their soulful music and their passion for dance. Learn the basic movements and traditional gestures to the 9/8 rhythm of the Turkish Roman learned from the Roman of sari Gul, Sulukule, Dolapdere and Ahirkapi in Istanbul and you too will say "Illede Roman Olsun!!" ("Nothing but Roman!!").
