Leading & Following Body Manipulations
Leading & Following w Body Manipulation or Body Contact, for Intermediate levels.
Pre-requisite: For those who are social dancing minimum 1x a week and who are very comfortable with basic, lateral, sway, and lady's left turn.
Learn how to use body leads, focusing on moving the upper shoulders to lead the lady's ribcage isolations, head movements, while improvising outside of the zouk beat, changing paces at will. Leaders will learn how to use body manipulation to express the melody instead of the beat. Followers will understand the vocabulary of leads on shoulders which are different than in salsa. (Men r welcome to follow, women how to lead).
