Kaeja d¹Dance is
Seeking a Full-Time
Development & Marketing Manager

The Development and Marketing Manager will be responsible for the planning
and implementation of strategic initiatives related to fundraising, and
marketing.

Working under the supervision of the General Manager and Co-Artistic
Directors, the Development and Marketing Manager will be responsible for
finding new funding sources in the private sector through the development of
a long-term private donor campaign and securing alternative grant sources.
The Development and Marketing Manager will also be responsible for the
creation of a marketing and publicity plan for the organization with the
goal of raising the profile of Kaeja d¹Dance both locally, across Canada,
and internationally.

Desired Qualifications:
Ø A post secondary degree or diploma.
Ø At least one year of fundraising experience.
Ø At least one year of marketing/publicity experience.
Ø Experience working with and/or supervising volunteers.
Ø Familiarity with Apple Macintosh computers and programs such as MS Office.
Ø Strong communication, project management, web savvy & computer skills.
Ø Must be highly organized and motivated, and enthusiastic.
Ø Able to multi-task, and prioritize.
Ø Open and adaptable to a high paced office environment.
Ø Initiative and drive to take the helm of specific projects.
Ø Some graphic design experience is an asset.
Ø Knowledge of the Canadian dance scene is an asset.
Ø Bilingualism (French & English) is an asset.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ø Develop and supervise a volunteer fundraising committee to establish a
private donor campaign.
Ø Develop a strategy and campaign for new alternative sources of funding.
Ø Responsible for promotional activities and materials through existing and
new infrastructures.
Ø Responsible for all Kaeja d¹Dance advertising and print materials.
Ø Send out company press releases/press kits, develop media relations on an
ongoing basis.
Ø Work with arts presenters to ensure all produced materials related to
Kaeja d¹Dance performances are accurate and representative; collect and
organize such materials (as well as reviews) for archival purposes; maintain
archives/scrapbook.
Ø Redevelop & update the company web site with Kaeja d¹Dance¹s graphic
designer.
Ø Liaise with national and international presenters to initiate new touring
opportunities.
Ø Maintain and update database/mailing list.
Ø Provide updates to Board of Directors and Funders.
Ø Related general office administration.
Ø Provide assistance to the General Manager

*Full-Time will be 40 hours per week.
