JOB OPPORTUNITY WITH LORD CULTURAL RESOURCES:
CONSULTANT, FACILITY PLANNING

LORD Cultural Resources is seeking a Consultant specializing in
Facility Planning to be based in our Toronto office.

LORD Cultural Resources Planning & Management Inc. works with the
world's most exciting museums.

Our mission is to work with people to plan and manage their cultural
resources to achieve the highest level of excellence and professionalism
in the service of society.

As a member of our Facility Planning team, you will be working with a
team of talented and creative individuals on challenging assignments on
an international scale - primarily in our Facility Planning stream
although you may be required to work on projects in one of our other 3
streams.

You will be actively involved in the facility planning process
including developing space lists, circulation and adjacency diagrams,
concept and space plans, and room datasheets.

You will also be expected to conduct research and analysis, write
Facility Planning reports and proposals and provide administrative and
management support to the Principal in charge of Facility Planning.

The successful candidate will:
- have an understanding of museums and museum functions;

- possess excellent written and oral communication skills;

- be proficient in Excel and MS Access, office and graphic programs,
and a basic understanding of CAD desirable (Vectorwork preferred);

- have strong mathematical skills ;

- be a self-starter who is challenged by tight deadlines;

- have previous experience in space and facility planning, ideally for
cultural institutions;

and
- have a post-secondary degree related to facility planning and/or
museum planning.
