The 2009 Caribana Parade, the main event of the Caribana Festival, will start at Exhibition Place and proceed west along Lake Shore Boulevard from 10am to 6pm on Saturday August 1, 2009. See map below:

TTC to Caribana
To get to Exibition Place, you can take the 511 bus from Bathurst Station or the LRT from Union Station directly into Exhibition Place.
To get to Lakeshore, you can take the 29 bus south from Dufferin Station, the Lansdowne Express from Lansdowne Station or the Keele Express from Keele Station.
The Lakeshore GO train also stops at Exhibition Place.
Caribana 2009 Tickets
Tickets to enter Exhibition Place will be $20 to $25, however it is free to watch from Lakeshore Boulevard.
In previous years of the Caribana Festival in Toronto, fans and spectators would able to follow their favorite bands down the street. However this year spectators will be separated from the masqueraders by taller fences and barricades.

If you would like to watch from home, CTV and CP24 are covering the event. CTV will deliver all of the highlights during the CTV NEWS AT 6 and 11:30.
CP24 will cover the Parade live from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with complete dedicated coverage beginning at 2 p.m. (repeating from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.).
To start things off, CP24’s lead anchor Ann Rohmer and CP24 BREAKFAST co-host Melissa Grelo deliver all of the competition highlights from the main staging area before the performers hit the parade route.
Then, CP24’s Nneka Elliott who is a long time Caribana participant, will go behind the scenes to check out costumes and talk to performers with help from her dad Walter Elliott; a well known designer and costume maker.
CP24’s Nalini Sharma will be on the parade route with a front line view of the parade, while CP24 anchor Omar Sachedina will broadcast live from inside the parade route.
The parade will also be streamed live from 2 to 4 p.m. on the CP24.com website.
