AfroLatino Dance Co. is looking for dancers to join their team for performances throughout the GTA! We are a Toronto based company specializing in Brazilian carnival as well as Cuban Cabaret styles of shows, performing for over 13 years at a variety of events and venues in Ontario and Quebec.
★★ Audition Date: Saturday, December 1, 2018
★★ Audition Time: 2:00pm – 3:00pm
★★ Registration: 1:30pm-2:00pm
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
★ Versatile female dancers with some ballet and/or jazz technique as well as improvisational skills
★ Latin dance experience (preferably Cuban) a plus
★ African dance experience a plus
★ Be 18 years old or older
★ Be attractive and physically fit
★ All ethnicities welcome
FURTHER REQUIREMENTS:
★ Must be available to rehearse every Thursday from 5:30 to 7:00pm, at our studio
★ Must have availability for majority of shows which are usually on weekends (night time)
★ Availability to take additional in-house training in related dance forms (samba, afro-cuban, salsa)
WHAT WE OFFER:
★ All shows are paid although rehearsals are not
★ Dance training in Cuban (Afro-Cuban, Salsa, Mambo, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Conga) and Brazilian Samba
★ Performance experience in a variety of environments
