Ballet Variations with Irene Yacoub

Calling adult ballet dancers of all levels. Move beyond the barre and discover variations from five timeless ballets, including Swan Lake, the Nutcracker, and Jewels.

This exciting and challenging offer from Joy of Dance allows dancers to hone their performance skills, with the rare opportunity to perform for family and friends at the end of each third week. Classes will feature a short and dynamic warmup at the barre, followed by a comprehensive dive into repertoire from classical and modern ballets.

Taught by Irene Yacoub, a former member of corps de ballet of the Cairo Opera Ballet, this class is suitable for dancers with 2+ years of recent ballet experience, and can be taken in either soft shoes or pointe shoes.
