BYOB “Bring Your Own Beat” is the premier urban dance competition series in Canada. BYOB was created to help young people steer clear of negative influences such as drug & alcohol abuse, gang activity and negative peer pressure. BYOB used to stand for phrases such as “Bring Your Own Booze”, “Bring Your Own Beer”, or even “Bring Your Own Bottle”. Our dance competition strives to re-brand those terms to mean “Bring Your Own Beat” thereby encouraging young people to be productive and creative.
