TEN explores humanity’s universal stories with an overarching tone that is both epic and poetic. The production also explores our common yearning to root deep into our heritage for the footprint of the ancestors.
A carefully chosen Creative team each bring with them diverse world cultures and experience to the making of this piece. ACE Dance and Music continues thier relationship with Choreographer, Jose Agudo, and some of the other stellar creative team behind A THOUSAND SHEPHERDS, which was part of the MANA repertoire.
The Jose Agudo collaboration delivers hints of Flamenco movement to the contemporary vocabulary underpinned by the ACE Dance and Musicinimitable African style. Music composition by Giuliano Modarelli will layer a haunting guitar melody onto these stories combined with a powerful and dynamic soundscape created in collaboration with Beautiful Noise (Vincenzo Lamagna).
