Dance Ontario DanceWeekend 2021

Join us from April 29th-May 2nd for Dance Ontario’s first ever virtual weekend of dance films, interactive workshops, and more!

DanceWeekend’21 will kick off on April 29th with International Dance Day celebrations followed by three action-packed days that will showcase a uniquely captivating feast of globally inspired dance. Tune in on Friday for a dance film series featuring exclusive interviews with the filmmakers and choreographers. On Saturday we’ll present additional films, new choreography, awards and end the day with a DJ Dance partywith Andrew Tay! We’ll close off the weekend on Sunday with a full day of captivating workshops in a range of dance styles from Hip Hop to Flamenco.

This year looks a little different in many ways, but DanceWeekend is here to stay. You’ll now be able to access the weekend of festivities from the comfort of your own home. As a proud advocate of the Ontario Dance community, we’re owning our responsibility to ensure a wide-reaching, sustainable, inclusive, and vibrant dance community.
