Common Ground Dance Festival produced by TOES FOR DANCE (@toesfordance) returns to North York, Toronto from September 21-23 and includes an afternoon of curious and thought-provoking performances at North York Central Library on September 23 between 1-4pm.
Catch emerging artist Ellen Moore’s choreography titled 51, 52, 53 in the atrium; a nuanced exploration of intimacy. Then, venture up to the 2nd floor auditorium to witness Tia Ashley Kushniruk (亚女弟) perform their bold and theatrical work-in-progress titled The artist isn’t present – a tour into the mind of Canada’s greatest non-existent artist.
RSVP to receive event reminders. More info about all of CGDF’s free events in 2023, including dance workshops and additional performances at Lee Lifeson Art park, at www.toesfordance.ca/common-ground.
