Dance with Irvin Washington

As part of the Family Wellness Series (July- August) during outdoor programming, The 519 EarlyON Child and Family Centre is partnering with facilitators to provide unique opportunities for parents/caregivers to bond with their child(ren) and to learn practices related to health and wellness. Irvin Washington will be hosting dancing for children (0-6 years) and with their parent/caregiver.

• Every Thursday
• 4 to 5 pm

Free. Pre-registration is required.

There are limited walk-in spots available at The 519 with a capacity of 25, including children, parents/caregivers, staff and volunteers. Pre-screening is recommended and on-site screening will be required. Participants are expected to to follow Public Health guidelines while in the space.

About Irvin Washington:

For dancer and choreographer Irvin Washington, life and dance play hand in hand. Originally from Toronto, Irvin has worked with some of the industry’s very own including Janelle Monáe, Anjulie, Destiny’s Child, and Toronto’s Jully Black. More recently, Irvin could be found as a dancer and assistant choreographer on Canada’s Drag Race along with his ongoing role as Co-founder of the TKBA (Toronto Kiki Ballroom Alliance).
