Ecstatic Dance Toronto – New Years Eve Celebration

A beautiful extended New Years Eve Gathering of Music, Dancing, Naming our Desires, and Indulgence in Food and Community-inspired Creating and Celebrating!

When we sat down and began to imagine how to put together an unforgettable evening, we took into account what can so often make New Years an ungrounded and frantic night that ends up missing something vital. What came through so clearly is to simply have a celebration where we get EXACTLY what we ALL Love …only MORE of it and then some MORE! So we are giddy to be offering an extended 4 HOUR Ecstatic Dance Journey where we really get to dance our hearts out!

We are also driven to create an experience where we get to name what we really want for the coming year and then powerfully root and grow an intention around this.

So we would like to ask you to consider NOW…

WHAT DO YOU WANT?? What would you like to give a Big Juicy YES to?! … and perhaps a Big Fat NO to?! You will have the option to partake in a variety of intention expanding activities that we have scheduled for the evening to Energize the resolve to pursue what you want!

Dancing freely with our tribe, we will celebrate all of life through this ritual of dance until midnight, greeting the first winds of the new year with a Group Intention Ritual that every willing member of our community will be able to partake in. Then a toast and replenishment of our dance saturated bodies with Kombucha supplied by Cathy’s Kombucha. This will be followed by the re-gathering of our community in a full Hearty Delicious Vegan Meal enjoyed in the delight of our post-dance hunger. Dessert will follow.

Flowing into community-inspired Music, Singing and; Sound Making (so bring your own instruments), Art and anything organic and participatory that you would like to share, guide and inspire us into. Please share your inspirations on our FB event page. A crystal bowl sound bath will also be held and lead by Jesse buck.

The festivities will continue until 3am.

• 8p | OPENING CIRCLE with CORE ENERGETICS EXERCISES (optional) to charge up your intentions for the year.
• 9p | 3-HR ECSTATIC DANCE JOURNEY | DJ RAY and DJ GREGORY
• 12a | MIDNIGHT CEREMONY with KOMBUCHA BREW at CLOSING CIRCLE followed by HEARTY VEGAN MEAL WITH DESSERT!!!
• …until 3am | CELEBRATION WITH COMMUNITY-INSPIRED MUSIC MAKING, SINGING, SOUNDING, DANCING, ART ETC. SOUND BATH with JESSE BUCK
