SUMMARY:Eve of St. George - An Unnerving Interactive Theatre Experience
DESCRIPTION:Event Description\nFollowing a sold-out run last January\, Tran
scendance Project’s award-winning artistic director Julia Cratchley anno
unces the return of EVE OF ST. GEORGE\, an immersive dance production insp
ired by New York City’s smash-hit theatrical experience Sleep No More.\n
\nEqual parts unnerving and seductive\, EVE OF ST. GEORGE is a voyeuristic
and immersive recreation of Bram Stoker’s chilling tale of Dracula\, sc
ored by award-winning Canadian composer Owen Belton. Upon arrival\, guests
don masks and are set free to roam the four levels of The Great Hall\, re
-imagined as a gothic Victorian setting for the stories of 16 characters
 — both choreographed and improvised — to unfold. Each guest decides th
eir own path for the evening\, by choosing to follow a character\, rifflin
g through their personal effects as they travel through the building\, or
remaining in one room to watch what unfolds — and perhaps even interacti
ng with a character. This is the first interactive theatrical experience o
 f its kind in Toronto.\n\nShowtimes:\n\nJanuary 17 - 20\, 2019 | 7:00 pm\n
