Intro to Latin Hustle Workshop (Part 1)

Part 1: Introduction to Hustle!

Already know some Salsa? Like partner dancing but don’t always hear salsa music at the functions you go to?

Latin Hustle, or “the Hustle” was created in the early ’70s as Salsa and Mambo dancers tried to incorporate their Latin dance moves into the house music of the era: Disco. The most popular counting pattern is “& 1, 2 3”.
Today, Hustle can be danced to almost any top 40’s song, House, Old House, and to Disco music!

This is a two-part, 8 week intensive workshop for students new yo Latin Hustle.
Part 1: Learn the Hustle basic step, popular Hustle turns and turn patterns. Learn hustle technique, how to lead and follow well and turn patterns to get you started on the dancefloor.

Prerequisites: No previous hustle experience required. Students must start on the first day. Open to students in Salsa levels 2-5, or people with at least 2 months experience dancing Salsa.

Price: $60 for 4 weeks. FREE for Steps students with a monthly auto renew or annual membership.
