INTRODUCTION TO FLAMENCO (Absolute Beginner) In Studio Only and Online RUMBA FLAMENCA
Jan 12 – March 30 (no classes Feb 16 and 23)
Registration: $180 for 10 weeks (includes HST) In person limite to 8 people per class
This class is for those who have no experience and are starting right from the beginning. This fun class teaches all the basics of flamenco dance while learning a lively dance called ‘Rumba Flamenca”. Students can wear any workout style clothes with leather –soled shoes with a bit of a heel. Check out the music by Roger Scannura that will help you get acquainted with Rumba Flamenca!

Advanced registration and vaccination proof required.

Ritmo Flamenco have received acclaim for their brand of flamenco that refuses to be formulaic with their troupe of dancers and musicians who have performed in concerts world-wide. Highlights of their tours have been: The Malta International Arts Festival, Luminato, The Toronto Downtown Jazz Festival, The Zihuatanejo Guitar Festival in Mexico, The Just Strings Festival in Napa Valley, California, and most recently a concert in Amman, Jordan at the Odeon Theatre. The have performed to sold-out theatres at the Living Arts Centre, Harbourfront Centre and are looking forward to their 2016 season.
