Introduction to Modern Square Dancing

This is a FREE introductory class. Come try it out!

Are you looking for an evening of laughs, fun and friendship — while learning an exciting new skill — this is for you!

Were you able to make it on Sept 10th? Doesn’t matter….come either night or both nights! Whatever works for you!

No partner required (although it’s always more fun if you bring a buddy with you). No experience required. NO DANCE SKILLS required, because you’re simply walking. And if you have two or three left feet, you will LOVE square dancing! No special clothes required (but dress to keep cool, because dancing is very active and you’ll get warm very quickly).

Our beginners’ class is a blast! We guarantee that you will never stop smiling. You’ll get a GREAT workout for your body AND your mind, and you will experience enormous satisfaction as you and your dance team work together to solve real-time puzzles on the dance floor. You’ll get to dance with everyone in the class … and you’ll make new friends instantly. By the way, if you’re kind of shy (like me!), square dancing is one of the best ways to meet people.

Classes are inexpensive, and we have special rates for full-time students. Full details will be provided in the class.

Triangle Squares is Toronto’s LGBTQ* square dance club. The club welcomes all genders and orientations. You do not have to be LGBTQ*, just friendly!
