THIS IS PART 1 of a 2-PART WORKSHOP
The Killer Boogie craze started to sweep Europe a couple years ago, with 24-hour video challenges and huge workshops. As more and more people have learned it, it’s become something like the boogie woogie Big Apple. When the first notes of the song get played, people rush onto the dance floor and the place goes wild.
Now it’s Toronto’s turn to learn this fast-paced, fun, solo rock n roll routine, choreographed by Marcus Koch.
Two 90-minute workshops on consecutive Sundays will prepare you to join in on all the fun, here at home or in your rock n roll travels.
No partner required. No experience required.
SUNDAYS – July 22 and July 29
From noon to 1:30 pm
700 University Avenue – Queen’s Park Subway Station – southwest corner of the intersection: meet in the courtyard behind Tim Horton’s by noon, and we’ll all go inside together (building is locked on Sundays, so you need an escort to go in)
$25 (includes BOTH sessions);
$15 for full-time students/seniors/under-employed
