This 2 hour workshop will combine Pilates and tribal bellydance. The first hour will introduce you to Pilates concepts, such as breathing and alignment and then we’ll be moving along throughout the exercises safely and efficiently. In the second hour, we’ll talk about foundational movements in the tribal vocabulary and drill, drill, drill.
You will need your own mat and a water bottle is recommended. Pilates mats are a bit thicker than yoga mats, but a yoga mat will be helpful. Wear whatever clothing you’d be comfortable working out in – leggings, sweat pants, and fitted tee-shirts or tanks. Pilates will be done barefoot, but if you require foot support for dancing, feel free to bring in appropriate footwear.
All are welcome to join us! You can pay cash at the studio in whatever amount you’d like.
