dance Immersion is proud to present a magical evening of dance with Ronald K. Brown / EVIDENCE (New York) at the Fleck Dance Theatre, Harbourfront Centre, February 2 & 3, 2018 for three performances only!
Creating an atmosphere of connection, Brown’s dance company EVIDENCE blends traditional African dance with contemporary choreography and spoken word. It uses movement as a way to reinforce the importance of community in contemporary African culture, and to acquaint audiences with the beauty of traditional African forms and rhythms.
With bounding leaps, passionate embraces, and elongated lines, Brown’s masterful movement creates deeply emotional works with a unique view of human struggles, tragedies, and triumphs.
