Embrace the music and movement of the swing era in this Lindy Hop for beginners workshop! Learn some of the basics of Lindy Hop, a partnered swing dance from the 1930s and 1940s. No dance experience necessary, just bring yourself, some water, some comfy shoes and join the fun!
Hannah Bild-Enkin is a Lindy Hop and Vernacular Jazz social dancer, performer, choreographer, and instructor based in Toronto. Originally training in tap, ballet, and figure skating, Hannah fell in love with swing era dances in 2011. She enjoys the improvisational nature of jazz music and dancing, and continues to find inspiration in the relationship that music and dance have with each other. Hannah strives to encourage everyone to find the joy in dancing.
Free to attend, please register to secure your spot!
