Toronto International Dance Festival TIDF-2018

The 5th Annual Toronto International Dance Festival (TIDF) will spotlight the phenomenal caliber of dance and dancers from the city and GTA.

20 professional dance companies will present their own latest and exclusive productions, showcasing more than 25 dance styles at this festival.
Dance styles like Bharathnatyam, Ballet, Break Dance, Bollywood, Serbian, Capoeira, Salsa, Chhau, Aerial, Tap, Tango, Kuchippudi, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, Irish, Fan Dance, Jewish, Odissi, Portuguese, Hip Hop, Kathak, Belly Dance, Bolivian, Afghanian, Mexican and more…… will be presented there for you to witness a mosaic fusion of multicultural dance styles amplified in exhilarating theatrical performances showcasing rhythmic patterns and dynamic sequential art forms.

Also you can meet and greet highly acclaimed dance instructors and professional choreographers at the festival and find out how you can join beginner classes in a particular dance style, polish technique and form or create a masterpiece choreography to your favourite musical selection. This will be a golden opportunity for dance students, teachers and dance lovers to learn about different varieties of dance styles in the world.

TIDF is the only dance festival in Canada that encompasses all dance forms from across the globe. In addition to the performances, the festival is a community bonding opportunity.
