Union Dance: The Big Social

he Union and Fall for Dance North partnership continues into its third year to offer FREE public programming in one of Toronto’s most historic buildings. This partnership presents unique programming, specifically curated for Union Station, to bring you closer to where Toronto is going on the arts and cultural scene!

Join us for 11 hours of social dancing on October 5th with THE BIG SOCIAL. Dive into the movement styles of swing, tango and Haudenosaunee (Indigenous) social dances, all with live music. Learn some new moves in beginner’s workshops and celebrate dancing together in a social setting, in the stunningly renovated West Wing.

Swing Dance
featuring a beginners workshop (4-5pm)
plus a performance by Luis Arredondo and Tiffany Sine
with live music by Bertie & The Gents

8:00pm-11:00pm

Tango Milonga
featuring a beginners workshop (8-9pm)
plus a performance by Bulent Karabagli and Lina Chan
with live music by TBD

Hosted by Fall for Dance North in partnership with Kaha:wi Dance Theatre, Lindy Hop Revolution and Bulent & Lina Tango.

All activities are FREE and operate on a first come first serve basis. Limited seating will be available.

The West Wing is located immediately west of The Great Hall, Union Station, 65 Front Street West, Toronto-ON
