The CBC documentary “Ice Sweat and Tears” probes the intense human drama as skaters push physical and mental limits as they bring skating to new heights.
Filmed over the course of the 2011-2012 season, the documentary follows an elite group of skaters including Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir, Patrick Chan, and Paige Lawrence and Rudi Swiegers.
Ice, Sweat and Tears also features interviews with skating luminaries like Kurt Browning, Elvis Stojko, and legendary coaches and choreographers Lori Nichol, Marina Zueva and Christy Krall.
