After nine thrilling weeks of competition, Canada has watched her rise to the top mastering every dance style thrown her way, and after tonight’s dance-packed SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA fourth season finale, we congratulate JORDAN CLARK on becoming Canada’s Favourite Dancer.
After 1.6 million votes were cast on Monday night, host Leah Miller announced live this evening that JORDAN Clark (19), a Contemporary dancer from Tottenham, ON has become Canada’s Favourite Dancer, also claiming the prize of $100,000, and a brand new Chevrolet Cruze.
Fellow Top 6 finalist MELISSA Mitro (23), a Contemporary dancer from Richmond Hill, ON was declared the Season 4 runner-up and also receives a brand new Chevrolet Cruze.
Like last season, the runner-up will receive $10,000, and the remaining four competitors will receive $5,000 each from the Sandra Faire and Ivan Fecan Dance Fund.
JORDAN and MELISSA, along with the other Top 6 finalists MATT Marr (20), a Contemporary dancer from Quispamsis, NB, LINDSAY Leuschner (19), a Contemporary dancer from Stouffville, ON; SHANE Simpson (24), a Jazz dancer from Thornhill, ON and CHRISTIAN Millette (28), a Ballroom dancer from Montreal, QC, graced the stage with all Top 22 competitors for the dance-filled two-hour live broadcast on CTV.
