Toronto’s biggest Tango event, the 7th Annual Toronto Tango Festival, kicks off with a Welcome Milonga at the Lithuanian Hall on Thursday, June 9th.
Indulge yourself in a four-day celebration of Argentine Tango, with workshops for all levels, practicas, milongas, performances and more!
There will be a two-Day Intensive Workshop for Absolute Beginners with Adam Hoopengardner and Ciko Tanik from New York (intended for dancers with less than 6 months experience). Teachers include: Mario Consiglieri & Anabella Diaz-Hojman (Buenos Aires), Oliver Kolker & Silvina Valz (Buenos Aires), Luis Bianchi & Daniela Pucci (Buenos Aires, New York), and Adam Hoopengardner & Ciko Tanik (New York).
Don’t just sit there, Toronto, … Tango!
Just been there — it’s really great. I live in New York and as a long-time tango dance, I must say that our NYC festival is nothing compare to Toronto’s. Waiting for the next year festival…
