Trinbago Toronto returns in 2023 with a bigger and better event on August 26th and 27th. Last year saw 18,000 attendees flooding Yonge-Dundas Square for a truly magical weekend. This year’s festival celebrates the accomplishments of the Trinidad and Tobago diaspora across academia, cuisine, sports, film, music, business, and more. The event, presented by Trinidad Tourism Limited and supported by the Tobago Tourism Agency Limited, highlights the contributions of Trinbagonians in Canada and aims to bring the community together to showcase their culture and resilience.
Known as Toronto’s Largest Trinidad & Tobago Food and Music Festival, the festival features an array of vendors serving authentic Trinidad and Tobago cuisine, captivating cultural performances on stage, and special booths from sponsors and partners including Visit Trinidad and Visit Tobago. Attendees even have a chance to win a trip to Trinidad and Tobago and other exciting prizes. On August 26, 2023, the CN Tower and Toronto sign will be illuminated in Trinidad and Tobago’s national colors to mark the occasion. The festival runs from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Yonge-Dundas Square.
